Mood Board - Christmas

Feeling very festive this year! Iv missed the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, the window displays at Sefridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and the smell of mulled wine throughout the city. However, after 3 christmas's away, it feels like a lifetime since Iv shared the joys of an Australian christmas, family, friends, warm weather, outdoor dining, water, fireworks and carols in the parks....its good to be home.

I love the sensations of Saturday morning, whether it be the sound of children learning to ride bicycles, the smell of freshly mown grass, the taste of mums pikelets, or the feeling of the sunshine coming through the window, there is so much optimism and hope!
This weekend, some invitation workshopping and gardening followed by the escape of my families boat made me realise just how lucky I am to be Australian and just what iv missed!

On the lookout for a cottage!

Matty and I are snooping around for a little place of our own (oh and new jobs too!).
Dear real estate diary,
We would like, a little heritage cottage, close to the water, with a nice big backyard for a fabulous garden....oh and a fireplace would be cute too! We are willing to work hard to make it wonderful and homely....actually, really hard!
