We dream of summer days that go on forever, fields of dreams with tall grass and morning dew and that feeling that you will be forever young in a world where anything is possible.
Mood Boards are the perfect way to scrapbook how you are feeling, what you are looking for and what inspires you. We love collecting beautiful images and objects that inspire us- whether it be a postcard, an old photograph, a handwritten letter. Today our mood board would include - a sunhat, a photo of our poodles, a strawberry thickshake, a hiking pack, a chai latte, Mary Kate Olsen ....
When exploring in Surry Hills (with Mum) we discovered the most inspiring shop called Shelf Life. Initially we were drawn to the beautiful bags in the window. We thought they were perfect for an east to eden girl. On a closer examination, what made this shop and these bags so special was the stories, lives and women behind the products.
The Dharma Door is strongly committed to the rights of marginalised artisans, particularly women, in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Philippines, and India and any location from which are products are imported.
They are committed to ensuring that fair wages, safe working conditions and human rights are met by those with whom they trade. Their goal is to help people everywhere access skills training, education, healthcare and community development as a means of improving their livelihoods with dignity.
W love the freedom that surrounds these pictures. The idea that you can run away and dream on any given day. All that you need is the fresh air and an open mind.

We wonder if a person can portray a mood? If so, we think that Isabel Lucas is the epitome of relaxed and carefree. We love her tussled and sun kissed hair and her light aura combined with her mismatched ways. We think that this Elle shoot sums up Isabel perfectly. Cool, calm and collected - we'll have what she's having.
"There is a tide in the affairs of men. Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. But omitted, and the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and miseries. On such a full sea we are now afloat, and we must take the current when it serves - or loose the ventures before us." William Shakespeare - Julius Caesar
This blog is our scrapbook of inspirations. We often repost things we have come across that we love! We do our best to credit the author and reference. Please contact us if we have stepped on any toes and we will happily remove the post.
