Bridesmaids, Check!
Less than 2 months and full time planning in motion. Buzzing all about like nesting birds, we are carefully picking and plucking finer details to represent the start of the rest of our lives. Tae = super sis, an event planning expert, checklists and timelines in place, sewing machine out and patience, endless. Anyway today the last touches for the bridesmaids were carefully picked, no dresses as yet but they are coming....all the way from Manchester, okay well Faye is coming and her talent to make them ;-)
When I think about the big day, I seem to really hover over a few key moments, the morning with Mum, of seeing Matthew, walking with my Dad, of the reception set up in all its glory, our guests in their best and finest and the bridesmaids, oh the bridesmaids. Four little rays of sunshine around me all day, just where I need them...and looking amazing (it doesn't take much). I have never understood the notion of dressing bridemaids as plain-o jane-o's so the bride stands out? That may just be the most ugly intention in the world! I hope for them to be the most beautiful in the room, I think it will be one of the most long lasting and cherished images in my mind, forever.
